Milan Eye Van Dijk as Summer Shake-Up Looms: Transfer Roundup

AC Milan are reportedly weighing a move for Liverpool and Netherlands center back Virgil van Dijk this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The 34-year-old is entering the final year of his contract at Anfield, fueling speculation of a potential exit. Milan chiefs are exploring the feasibility of a deal, described as “complicated” due to financial hurdles and Liverpool’s reluctance to let him go.

Tottenham Hotspur are set to continue their spending spree, targeting AFC Bournemouth striker Junior Kroupi. The Independent reports that the 20-year-old tops Spurs’ shortlist, with a fee exceeding £80 million required amid competition from Arsenal and PSG. Additionally, Milan winger Rafael Leão, Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, and Manchester City winger Savinho are options for the left wing.

Spurs also aim to sign Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford, 23, who may leave after just a year. The Independent claims Trafford would compete with new arrival Martin Dúbravka and Antonín Kinsky for the No. 1 spot, with Guglielmo Vicario set to depart.

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has been in talks with Manchester City, per Marca. The 23-year-old could leave for €60 million as new boss Jose Mourinho reshapes the squad. City are also exploring midfield options after their £116 million deal for Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, while Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali reportedly heads to Tottenham.

TEAMtalk claims Bournemouth have told Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United that Alex Scott is not for sale after the Premier League champions made a fresh inquiry. The Cherries want to extend Scott’s contract, which runs until 2028.

Manchester City have confirmed an agreement with Nottingham Forest for Elliot Anderson. The midfielder passed a medical at England’s World Cup base and will join City after the tournament. Sources told ESPN the deal is worth £116 million with no add-ons.

Tottenham have announced the signing of West Ham midfielder Mateus Fernandes for £85 million, beating Manchester United. Everton have also confirmed the signing of Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney for an initial £16.5 million.

Spurs are set to smash their transfer record again with a £100 million deal for Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali, just days after signing Fernandes. Brighton have agreed a £46 million fee (plus £4 million) for Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham, while Atletico Madrid are closing in on Morten Hjulmand for €45 million from Sporting CP.

Chelsea are in advanced talks for Rayo Vallecano’s Pep Chavarria, a 28-year-old left back. Newcastle have reached an agreement for Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Toure, 20, to replace Anthony Gordon. Jurgen Klopp has an exit clause in his Red Bull contract that could allow him to become Germany national team boss.

Bayern Munich are monitoring Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr, who enters his final year under contract. Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins is a target for Fenerbahce, while Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio may stay despite interest.
